1st Term Science Assignments
Please be sure that you have read and signed the 3 forms on the upcoming science assignments. All forms should be signed and turned in to me by Friday, Aug. 24. Please help your student to get organized. They should start planning to work on these assignments a little at a time so that they don’t get overwhelmed right before the due dates. Please feel free to email me with any questions about the assignments.

***Thank you to all of the parents who attended Curriculum Night. We enjoyed meeting you, and we hope that it was informative. If you were unable to make the meeting, your child should have brought home three flyers that were given out on that evening.

Welcome

Welcome to Team 6D at Schilling Farms Middle School. This fantastic team consists of myself (Mrs. Wallace-Science), Mrs. Norton (Language Arts), Mrs. Gibson (Math), and Mrs. Emerling (Social Studies). We look forward to working with you to ensure that your child has a successful 6th grade year.

SCIENCE
We will have an awesome time exploring the wide world of science. The students will work hard, but hopefully will have fun while learning. Our study begins with the steps of the scientific method, scientific models, and scientifc tools.
**Please encourage your child to review science regularly in order to stay abreast of the vast amount of information that we will learn.
